10 Things I Hate About Junior Year

I hate how heavy Eric Foner’s history textbook is

And the way each chapter never ends

I hate the Fridays without free dress

And I hate homework-filled weekends

I hate the long Commons lines

And the basement sewage stink

I hate it so much, that it makes me want to stay home

And I barely have time to think

I hate the late nights spent reading

I hate the AP Bio labs

I hate it when there’s five-day weeks

And when each school day drags

I hate the long weekends without friends

And that high school will one day be memories to recall

But mostly I hate the way I don’t hate you

Not even close

Not even a little bit

Not even at all
