Congratulations Middle School chorus! For the second year in a row, Westridge has been chosen to perform at Knott’s Berry Farm for their annual Boysenberry Festival on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. Amongst many other schools and youth groups that auditioned, Westridge has the honor of being selected as one of a few to perform.
The Boysenberry Festival is a day of performance for students, but students will also have about an hour or two to go on the rides and perhaps socialize with someone from Middle or Upper School.
Music Department Chair and Chorus Teacher Dr. Shinnshill Park said the trip “provides great bonding time” and a unique opportunity for students to perform for the public.
Seventh grader Naomi D. added, “I am so excited to go, but I hate roller coasters, but going with my friends and the choir is really, really exciting.”
Skylim C. ’30, who performed at Knotts Berry Farm last year as well, said, “I was excited to perform, but also nervous for my solo.”
Amelia T. ’31 is looking forward to the trip. “We’ve been practicing for a while, and I think we will do really well,” said Amelia. “I am feeling great anticipation about showcasing our skills and hard work (and also the funnel cakes they sell).”
