Oh, Halloween—the one night a year where you can dress up as ANYTHING your heart desires. The costume is a quintessential part of the Halloween experience—a non-negotiable duty for each and every Halloween-er to undertake. For the spookiest experience, check out last year’s Halloween-themed 9th grade advisors article first. But this year, instead of matching candy with a teacher, Spyglass will reveal what costume we believe best captures each 10th grade advisor.
Mrs. Amos
Mrs. Amos, iconic and wise, could definitely pull off a certain Professor McGonagall from Harry Potter.

Dr. Busch
Dr Busch, connoisseur of catchphrases and fun facts, embodies Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory.

Mr. Chang
Chill Mr. Chang always exudes a calm aura, making him the perfect advisor to be the Chill Guy meme.

Ms. Cutler
With endless, skillfully crafted outfits full of color and a huge love for learning, Ms. Cutler embodies Ms. Frizzle from The Magic School Bus.

Dcal
Dcal, armed with his sunglasses and everyday casual dress, could totally pull off a Marty McFly costume from Back to the Future. Just like McFly, he’s in charge of the futures of our 10th grade class.

Mr. Eichelberger
Mr. E, serious, logical, and tired of dealing with humans, would be the perfect Spock from Star Trek.
Dr. Garrett
Our lovely Spanish teacher, Dr. Garrett, personifies a colorful butterfly brimming with kindness and fun.

Coach Jenna
Beloved coach and P.E. teacher, Coach Jenna’s encouraging spirit is reminiscent of an ‘80s fitness instructor, making it a superb costume choice.

Ms. Martinez
Ms. Martinez, constantly buzzing about campus and always helping build upon Westridge values, is the image of a busy bee.

Ms. Spicer
We hope to see Ms. Spicer, kind and always there to lend a helping hand, donning a Dorothy costume from The Wizard of Oz while skipping down the yellow brick road.

"[Teachers] are part of the community," said Dr. Kelly. "Just like our families and students."](https://westridgespyglass.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/dr.-kellyyy-1-e1748143600809.png)

![Lacrosse had an incredible season, making it to the semifinals. Jeff Searock, the father of player Sophie S. '28 has gone to most games and said, "[The season has] been great. Great coaching, great players, kids have great attitude. You can't ask for much more."](https://westridgespyglass.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG_3652-1200x900.jpeg)
