Dr. Tina Singh

This year, Westridge will be saying goodbye to  Upper School Science Teacher, Tina Singh. Dr. Singh began teaching at Westridge in 2019 and will be returning to public education, teaching AP and Honors Chemistry at La Canada High School next year.

As Singh moves on to further her teaching career at a different school, she will cherish Westridge. “I will miss the small, warm community of students, faculty, and staff, especially my advisory.  I have a special bond with Westridge since I was a parent and then a faculty member. My favorite thing about working at Westridge (other than the fresh chocolate chip cookies) was the opportunity to become involved in campus life.  From interviewing prospective students to advising a club to leading an interim, I felt a sense of belonging because I was involved.”

Westridge wishes Dr. Singh all the best as she continues to further her teaching career. To Westridge, Dr. Singh leaves with this message: “Love what you do. Do what you love. Inspire others, love yourself, and dream forever.”
