On Tuesday, May 13th, Westridge Upper and Middle School students gathered in the Performing Arts Center (PAC) to listen to the candidates for the 2025-2026 Associated Student Body (ASB) cabinet give their election speeches. Each candidate promoted themselves as best as they could with the short allotted time. After the assembly, students voted electronically and elected their new ASB cabinet for the 2025-2026 school year.
Below are statements and photos provided by the newly elected 2025-2026 ASB cabinet:
ASB President
Michaela R. ’26
“I’m super excited to work with so many wonderful and qualified people next year! I’m ready to plan super fun events and genuinely bring a whole new level of tiger pride to Westridge. I’m also excited to connect with new and returning students and make the most of my final year.”
ASB Treasurer
Helena C. ’26
“I am most excited for filming the theme video. I plan on creating a form where clubs, affinities, and all student organizations can borrow an Apple Pay/credit card check out device, and access to a school Venmo/Zelle/Paypal/CashApp account for more payment options during fundraisers so that we can eliminate chasing people down for IOUs and increase sales revenue.”
ASB Communications Chair
Nina K. ’26
“I’m really excited to use this position to connect with everyone in the Westridge community and ensure that students feel supported by ASB! My number one goal is to talk to as many people at Westridge as possible and learn about what everyone is passionate about and how ASB can incorporate those interests into events and messaging! I’m also looking forward to planning ASD and making it memorable for every grade!”
ASB Community Outreach Chair
Olivia T. ’26
“In my role, I look forward to partnering with the Admissions and Advancement teams, the Westridge Parent Association (WPA), and our school leadership to authentically convey the Westridge story. By highlighting our unique programs and fostering connections, I hope to welcome prospective families and strengthen our alumni network, fostering a sense of pride and connection among all members of our school community.”
ASB Arts Chair
Isa H. ’26
“I think what I’m most excited for is working alongside my friends on ASB and also hopefully getting to make an art instagram for Westridge! I have a lot of ideas brewing of what I could do as Art Chair, so I can’t wait to see what I can do. Like I said in my speech, art has always been a safe space for me, so I’m super excited to get to work.”
ASB Athletics Head
Isabel L. ’26
“At Westridge, I believe our student-athletes build more than just muscle—they build resilience, confidence, and connection. That’s the kind of strength I strive to lead with. I’m so excited to represent and help make athletics even stronger this coming school year. I’m hyped to work alongside our amazing student body, dedicated coaches, and especially our new Athletic Director, Coach Alice Lee!”
ASB Sustainability Heads
Tekle S.-J. ’27 and Larkin M. ’27
“We are both so excited to spend next year as your Sustainability Chairs! We hope to make our community more focused on sustainability and make climate engagement fun. We have both been on Green Guerrillas for the past two years, and are excited to take leadership to continue progressing towards a more sustainable Westridge.”
ASB Greek and Roman Heads
Lexie L. ’26 and Lucia F.-R. ’26
“We’re most excited about planning the Greek and Roman initiation, and we plan to bring more competitions between the two sides of Westridge. We’re super-excited to make the year memorable for everyone.”
ASB Student Life Chair
Skye I. ’26
“I’m so excited to work with the Student Life team, and I hope to work closely with other student leadership cabinets to enrich town meetings.”
